Top 5 Out-Of-Home Media Favorites
With the overwhelming amount of advertising opportunities available today, I’d like to take a minute to let you in on some of my personal out-of-home media favorites:
Billboards
Yes! Regardless of ever changing and emerging media types, one that remains a large favorite by consumers and advertisers alike is the time-tested billboard advertising. You can’t turn it off, throw it away or really avoid it unless you choose never to leave your home or neighborhood. Another thing, they work! Whether it’s a morning commute or a weekend road trip, drivers and passengers take notice. Your message will register in their subconscious one way or another. Take your bulletins or posters to the next level with excellent creative to help billboards work best for your advertising goals. Not sure how to do this? Let us help!
Mobile Billboards
Similar to traditional billboards but with a mobile aspect, you can really put your message in front of your target audience in a custom way. Mobile billboard advertising is great for special events, campus targets and store openings. They can also be paired with a street team or other non-traditional media to grab even more attention.
Interior Cards
Interior Cards (transit – bus – subway) are an effective way to reach a number of different demographics on their way to and from work, school and tourist attractions. Not everyone is equipped with something to pass the time. What do they do? They look around the interior and see your ad! This media is great for informative and educational ads or a call-to-action. I was just working on a project in which a client requested subway interior cards and it was a great fit for their objectives.
Street Teams / Brand Ambassadors
Street team marketing will make your presence known among busy city streets, outdoor events and in bars or restaurants (subject to approval). It is highly recommended that the advertiser provide branded t-shirts for ambassadors to wear while handing out promotional materials. It is further beneficial to provide a few talking points for ambassadors to share about the product, service or event you’re looking to promote and thus engaging consumers rather than just handing out items.
Gas Station Ads
What do you do while you’re pumping gas?? You shouldn’t be on your phone. You shouldn’t be getting back in your car. No, if you’re following the safety regulations you should be standing at the pump, patiently or not so patiently, waiting for your tank to fill. Enter Gas Pump Topper and Gas Pump TV advertising. Love it. You’re standing there, nothing to do but wait, and you cannot avoid seeing this media whether it’s the static Pump Topper or engaging content on the Pump TV. This is a great way to reach many different consumer demographics as a majority of Americans drive (or ride) in cars that need refueled every week or two. We can even customize your locations to target specific zip codes or areas within desired cities.
Think about what would and does catch your eye on a daily basis and let us help you get results!
