We are looking for a highly motivated production assistant to help facilitate in-house print production services.
Responsibilities Include:
➤ Initiating and tracking all jobs within an internal database
➤ Confirming shipping and arrival notices for production material
➤ Proofing artwork specifications and orders for accuracy
➤ Collaborating with sales staff in-order to meet client needs
➤ Archiving and maintaining all artwork for future use
➤ Act as a point of contact for vendors as needed
➤ Gathers estimates and produces proposals to be sent to clients
➤ Responsible for generating and manipulating in-house artwork
➤ Inputs production quotes for media proposals, including all necessary information
➤ Coordinates and organizes information that converts a proposal to finalized posting
Position requirements:
● Ability to work with little supervision
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Organized with effective time management skills
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office and database management software
● MAC, graphics and production experience a plus
● Must have a positive attitude and possess strong attention to detail
● Production experience is a plus but not required. Training provided upon hire.
A production assistant needs to have the ability to work closely with the production manager, but also independently, in order to cover the majority of the responsibilities in their absence. Being very detailed is key with this position because it ensures the correct artwork and products are going to the correct places for installation. It provides a great opportunity for an entry-level person to become familiar with some of the elementary principles in programs like InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
