Bookstore advertising using floor graphics
Floor video screens are a digital medium that is comprised of 4 screens on a floor mat-like display placed in college bookstores across the country. The quadrants of floor video screens can be used to display one creative or up to 4 separate ad messages or images, and floor video screen ads typically run as :15 second spots. Floor video ads target students at the point-of-purchase, at the entrance and exits, and the main trafficked areas of college bookstores. However, placement can be customized to the advertiser’s product or preference. Also, floor video screens are not limited to just targeting students in college bookstores, as they can be placed in malls and various other retail stores. Similar to floor video screens, digital floor projections project an ad message from above on to the floor without the use of a mat or frame. Digital floor projections can be interactive and offer many customizations. Placements of digital floor projections are best in high traffic areas at malls, events or any other populated social or retail environment. Digital floor projections are an excellent branding and retail tool since the main purpose of this medium is to attract attention, captivate consumers for a period of time, and drive traffic. Bookstore advertising with branded shopping bags
Branded bookstore advertising through shopping bags is an eco-friendly, direct to consumer marketing option that targets students on campus. Typically, these reusable bookstore shopping bags are distributed at bookstores on and/or near campus when retail purchases are made, but these branded bags can also be distributed on campus or near campus by street teams. Branded bookstore shopping bags provide advertisers continual ad exposure to the student, since they’re reusable. They also provide additional exposure to everyone the student encounters on campus and in other shopping environments, like the grocery store or various retail stores, where the student would be inclined to use the bag. Bookstore shopping bags come in many different sizes, colors and materials. Ad messages and/or logos are placed on the outside of bookstore shopping bags, and advertisers should incorporate all sides of the bag to ensure total ad exposure. Bookstore shopping bag programs may also include samples, inserts or other promotional items. Subject to market availability. Not available in all campus bookstores.
