Advertising in Nashville, TN
The town of Nashville was founded in 1779 by James Robertson, John Donelson, and a party of Overmountain Men. It was named after Francis Nash, the American Revolutionary War hero. Nashville grew rapidly because of its convenient location, accessibility as a river port, and its position as a major railroad center. The city is the second-largest in Tennessee and was named the permanent capital in 1843. While smaller in size than Memphis, Nashville has earned a reputation as “Music City”. Performers, young and old, flock to the city each year in hopes of becoming the next big thing. Country, jazz, blues, and soul genres fuse together to define this music mecca.
