Advertising in Lansing, MI
Lansing is the capital of Michigan. The city’s population was 114,297 according to the 2010 Census, making it the sixth-largest city in Michigan. The larger Combined Statistical Area population was 464,036. The area was plotted and named “Biddle City” in the winter of 1835 by two brothers from New York. Aware of the land’s constant flooding, the brothers scammed people into buying plots sight unseen. Many of those tricked decided to forge ahead with developing the city. Shortly after the town was established in April 1848, named Lansing, and became the capital of Michigan.
