Advertising in Youngstown, OH
In the 2010 U.S. Census, Youngstown, OH had a total population of 66,982, making it Ohio’s ninth largest city. Although it has its own metropolitan area it’s usually included in the Pittsburgh Tri-State and the Greater Cleveland area. The city was named for John Young, an early settler from Whitestown, NY. He established the community’s first sawmill and gristmill. At one time, it was known as the center of steel production, and was once considered the “Rust Belt.” However, Youngstown’s steel industry declined in the 1970’s, this left the region without a major economic industry, but it renewed itself with other industries.
